Metronome Prague
METRONOME PRAGUE is a four-day music and art event that offers a bold program and unique performances in a superior environment right in the center of Prague. With its audience, it goes beyond music and offers them overlap and unique experiences.
Thanks to top international stars, an abundance of art forms, a venue in the heart of the metropolis and the perfect timing at the most beautiful time of the year, Metronome Prague is one of the best metropolitan festivals.
Every year more than 20 thousand visitors pass through the gates of the Holešovice Exhibition Centre, who had the opportunity to enjoy unique concerts at METRONOME PRAGUE by such stars as TOM ODELL, BECK, AURORA, JAMIROQUAI, M83, NICK CAVE, MODERAT, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS, ZAZ, STING, IGGY POP, MASSIVE ATTACK and dozens more.
United Islands of Prague
We have been organizing the festival since 2004, regularly more than 35 thousand people come to it every year and about 70 musical discoveries from different parts of the world. Over the years, more than 1,200 different artists have performed at the festival, and many have become regulars of the Czech music scene over the years. Various interesting organisations, associations, workshops, museums, media, theatres and cultural institutions receive their space at the festival as part of the diverse non-musical programme Islands of Inspiration. It is therefore possible to try an art workshop, listen to an interesting lecture or even be part of the filming of live podcasts.
United Islands of Prague was created as a celebration of the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union and we celebrate Europe every year. We organize the festival right in the center of Prague on the islands, namely Střelecký Island, Kampa, Dětský Island, Žofín, but also on Janáček's embankment or Legia Bridge.
